Dr. Anna-Marie Gron (1929 - 2010) HARVARD RESEARCH ORTHODONTIST
It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Dr. Anna-Marie Gron. She was a well-known professor and research orthodontist at Forsyth Dental Infirmary for Children and the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. A memorial tribute appeared in the Boston Boston Globe, and the AJO-DO.
Biology of Tooth Movement Books Available
Between 1988 and 2005, eight NIH-funded conferences were held to consider the biology of tooth movement, with the proceedings published in individual volumes edited by HSAO member Ze-ev Davidovitch along with James Mah and Sasithorn Sutharnarak.
Each book contains 45-60 full-length articles on topics such as tooth eruption, craniofacial adaptation, optimal orthodontic forces, and root resorption.
