Dr. Hartsfield recently assumed the E. Preston Hicks Endowed Chair in Orthodontics and Oral Health Research at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. He continues to see private practice patients and is developing a DNA repository for his research and future studies of other investigators at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center.

Dr. Cognata practices orthodontics in Boston, Everett, and Marblehead, Massachusetts. He is president of the Edward H. Angle Society’s Eastern Component and a part-time faculty member in the HSDM Orthodontic Program.
